Can food explain a culture? We know it can! Cook in Rio offers cooking classes in English to foreign visitors wanting to learn about Brazil, Argentina and Brazil while making some of the most fun and delicious meals and drinks. Whether you're just dining out with a local or having an all-out cooking experience making local dishes, you're bound to get a different perspective on that culture and their people. Our Food Tours and cooking classes are operated by locals with a passion for food, who are hand-picked on their ability to explain and to entertain. None of our classes are technical education... There are a lot closer to Kitchen parties than anything else.

Led by Cristiano Nogueira, a design thinking graduates with 20 years of experience in the travel trade, Cook in Rio has been presenting the best of Brazilian food to visitors in Rio. Our goal is to position Brazil as one of the top food destinations, on par with the best, given its incredible diversity: Brazil has over 250 exotic fruits, a dozen cuts of meat, six types of internationally awarded cheeses, dozens of Brazilian snacks and candies, a couple of " I can drink this all day" cocktails and dozens of street and bar snacks. Given this huge variety of flavors we believe every tourist should invest a good part of their trip exploring what might be exotic to them yet loved by Brazilians.
