Given an option, ask for Devassa or Amazon Beer.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Chopp<\/b><br>A light draft beer on tap. Preferred over bottled beer. Ask for Devassa or Brahma.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-elements-67ab6888ee5425c7f1853d5bd83822bf\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookinrio.com\/food\/where-to-eat-in-rio-de-janeiro\/classic-copacabana-pub-crawl\/\"><b>Caipirinha<\/b><\/a><br>The most refreshing alcoholic mixed drink in the world! Cacha\u00e7a, lime, sugar and ice. Great on any occasion: bar, restaurant, clubbing\u2026 breakfast. Just don\u2019t buy it from street vendors, as they sometimes use ice made from unfiltered water that can make you sick. Also, try the caipivodka (with vodka) and the caipisake (with sake, duh). Some of the trendier bars offer caipirinhas with different fruits: pineapple, strawberry, tangerine, etc. When given a choice of cacha\u00e7a, opt for the ones from the region of Salinas.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Batida de C\u00f4co<br><\/b>Very creamy drink that will get you drunk without you knowing. Coconut milk, cacha\u00e7a, sugar, and other stuff blended into a milkshake. Not usually served in real coconuts, except at beach resorts.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><b>A Shot of Pinga<br><\/b>Cacha\u00e7a (pr: ca-sha-ssa)<br>Only for the macho. Straight cowboy shot of Pinga. You won\u2019t need to display your ignorance any further. Don\u2019t shoot it, sip it.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Pinga com Mel<br><\/b>Cacha\u00e7a with honey, mixed to a point where you don\u2019t taste the cacha\u00e7a at all. Although, you can drink it all night and wake up sober. Now that\u2019s responsible boozing.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Brazilian Wines<br><\/b>A few Brazilian wines are starting to make it on the international scene, like the Valduga and Miolo winery product lineup. Sparkling wine is Brazil\u2019s fort\u00e9. Look for Valduga, Miolo and Salton.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading wp-elements-83fd2b80441ad68247554d1873d852d5\"><strong>Non-alcoholic <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-elements-8594a411e324754b4bec095a842bf75b\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Guaran%C3%A1_(soft_drink)\"><b>Guaran\u00e1<\/b><\/a><br>The most popular Brazilian soft drink, great on any occasion.\u00ad<br>(Reg. Trademark AmBev SA LTDA)<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Mate<br><\/b>A strong-flavored iced tea from the south of Brazil, made from the mate herb. Available in diet or regular and in natural or lemon flavors.<br>(Reg. Trademark Le\u00e3o LTDA)<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Agua de coco<br><\/b>Coconut water, not milk. Very good for whenever you are dehydrated. Two will cure most hangovers.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Agua<\/b><br>Since tap water is not drinkable in Brazil, you should always look for bottled water.<br>SEM GAS= non-carbonated<br>COM GAS= carbonated<br>(Reg. Trademark Alimentos e Bebidas Campos do Jord\u00e3o LTDA)<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Cafezinho &#8211; Small Coffee<br><\/b>Since the weather is hot, you don\u2019t want to walk around with a steaming pint of coffee, so people drink expresso-sized cups of very concentrated coffee, to get the kick without raising your body temp.<\/p>\n<p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<p><b>Ades Juices<br><\/b>Tasty soy milk juices made from various fruits, are found in supermarkets.<br>(Reg.
